13:46 Dance Ensemble is a Christian-based dance company founded October 4, 2012 by Jeanna Booker. The name of the ensemble is based on the Parable of the Pearl of Great Price in Matthew 13:45-46.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” 13:46 represents the person that is or has gone through any adversity. But, like the pearl, they always come out not looking like what they have been through.

"The pearl itself is a beautiful, single entity, formed through suffering in the heart of the oyster (in the same way that believers endure lack of wealth or comfort) and like the Church, will be put on display in a coming day. Unlike precious stones which must be cut and polished to reveal their clarity and beauty, the pearl is perfect as it comes from the oyster.”-Author Unknown.

Since its inception in Maryland, 13:46 Dance Ensemble has expanded territory in New Jersey, Tampa and Miami (Florida),Texas, and Suriname South America.
